About Darul Qur’an Institute of Islamic Studies
Darul Qur’an Institute of Islamic Studies is an Islamic educational institution dedicated to providing quality after-school Qur’ānic and Islamic education programs to children and youth in a welcoming, nurturing, and spiritually uplifting environment.
Established in 2006 by Shaykh Oves, the institute began with just two students. Today, the administrators and teachers bring more than 40 years of teaching experience, with extensive study and teaching backgrounds across Canada, the United States, India, England, and Egypt.
Building Strong Foundations for Life
We encourage our students to maintain a healthy balance between their Islamic responsibilities, including the five daily Salah, respect for parents, Islamic education, and their school studies.
Our goal is to help students develop strong faith, character, and academic foundations so they can grow into confident, responsible, and contributing members of Canadian society.

Our mission is to help students develop a strong and lasting relationship with the Qur’ān, build a solid foundation in Islamic knowledge, develop good character and Islamic manners, and grow into confident, practicing Muslims who can positively contribute to their families and communities.

At Darul Qur’ān Institute, we believe that Qur’ānic education is not simply about memorizing words. It is about developing a lifelong connection with the Book of Allah ﷺ and learning how to implement its teachings in our daily lives.
Our programs accommodate students at different levels, from beginners learning the Arabic alphabet and basic Qur’ānic reading to advanced students pursuing complete memorization of the Qur’ān.
