Hifdh Program
The Hifdh Program is an intensive Qur’ān memorization program for students who aspire to memorize the entire Qur’ān.
A Structured, Six-Year Journey
The Hifdh-ul-Qur’ān program at Darul Qur’ān Institute is designed to guide students toward the memorization of the entire Qur’ān in a structured, disciplined, and supportive environment. The program generally takes approximately six years to complete, although the actual duration may vary from student to student.
Built on Commitment & Consistency
The completion of Hifdh is not determined by time alone — a student’s progress depends greatly on commitment, consistency, and the support around them.
Commitment & Attendance
Regular attendance and arriving on time are essential — missing lessons can quickly create gaps in a student’s memorization and make it difficult to keep pace with the program.
Daily Practice & Discipline
Students dedicate themselves to daily memorization and continuous revision, developing strong study habits and self-discipline outside of regular Madrasah hours.
Parental Support
Parents are encouraged to establish a consistent routine at home, monitor daily revision, ensure punctual attendance, and stay in regular contact with teachers.
Our primary objective is not simply to complete the Qur’ān within a particular number of years, but to ensure that students memorize it accurately and retain what they have learned. Quality, consistency, and long-term retention are essential components of the Hifdh journey.
Students are guided through an individualized memorization plan according to their ability, age, consistency, and academic responsibilities.
The Program Focuses on Three Major Areas
Sabaq — New Memorization
Students memorize new portions of the Qur’ān under the supervision of their teacher, preparing their daily lesson carefully and reciting it for assessment and correction.
Sabaq Parah
Recent Revision — Al-Murāja’ah Al-ŪlāStudents regularly revise portions they have memorized recently, reinforcing new memorization and preventing it from becoming weak.
Dhor
Long-Term Revision — Al-Murāja’ah Ath-ThāniyahStudents continuously revise older portions of their memorization — a lifelong responsibility, since memorizing the Qur’ān is only the beginning.
